Upcoming Events

The Club runs a monthly field trip or workshop, and a monthly meeting. in the Waimea Rooms at the A&P Grounds, Richmond.

Field trips/workshops generally take place on the 2nd or 3rd weekend of the month, but may vary depending on circumstances. Trips may also have to be postponed on some occasions because of weather. Most trips are single-day (typically 2-6 hours) but some are overnight or multi-day. Though most trips are relatively easy, some require a good level of fitness. 

Meetings generally take place on the evening of the 3rd Thursday of each month (but again, may vary), starting at 19.00 (7.00 pm). Meetings usually comprise a miix of short talks/presentations (including a briefing for the upcoming field trip and feedback from the previous trip), along with videos, discussions and a display of specimens.
